MV Sinar Kudus has been release by the Somalian Pirates

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: After going through the process of tough negotiations, government and company PT Samudera Indonesia finally managed to free 20 crews of the MV. Sinar Kudus from Somali pirates hostage. Today, MV. Sinar Kudus and its 20 crew on the way home with the Indonesian Navy escort ship. MV. Sinar Kudus and its crews Rays held hostage for 46 days. As stated by the Vice President Director of PT Samudera Indonesia David Batubara in a press conference at the Samudera  Indonesia in Jakarta, Sunday (1 / 5). The  Somali pirates release the Ship after the company meet the ransom demanded, which amounted to 4.5 million U.S. dollars or around Rp38, 5 billion. Ransom money was dropped from a helicopter off the coast of Somalia. David said the news about this has been circulated this morning. But the Samudera Indonesia can not ensure it because at the time, this morning, the pirates are still in the vessel. At around 17:10 pm Jakarta Time or 13:10 pm Somalia local time, release crew was certain. A total of 20 crew was reportedly in a state of safe and healthy. “It’s no more pirates on board the ship. And all the crew are in a safe and healthy ,”explained David. Currently MV. Sinar Kudus on the way home with strict guard of the Indonesian Navy who participated in the liberation process. David said that the acquisition process could not be separated from the role of the military, government, and especially the crew that the ship be patient during the process of liberation.
